Brand Strategist
Passionate Writer
I hail from a family of serial entrepreneurs dating back to my great-grandfather, grandfather, and father. My first enterprise was forming a kazoo band with neighborhood kids. We traipsed around town, knocking on doors to ask for pay-to-play (the earliest form of busking), and made enough loot to retire and buy a whole lot of Bazooka bubble gum.

As an Adult
I Followed in My Own Footsteps
Nine years later, I moved to LA to stake my claim in the film industry. I launched Go Girl Entertainment where I co-executive produced Princess of Thieves, an ABC Disney Movie of the Week starring Keira Knightley.
When the Internet caught fire, I took the plunge and joined iFilm, an independent film startup, which sold to Viacom for far too much money. Next, I was recruited by Jdate, the world’s largest Jewish online dating site, and created Joe’s Club, an exclusive supper club for busy singles, an experience that led me back to graduate school to earn my master’s in clinical psychology and become a psychotherapist working with singles.

Websites Even Freud Would Envy
While in my therapy internship I had the novel idea of helping therapists to transition into the 21 st century by building branded websites for them.
I launched ShrinkWr@p, Websites Even Freud Would Envy, while writing resumes as a side hustle. After 11 years it was time for a change, so I opened AliRothWrites to focus exclusively on writing resumes.
